Societal Innovation In Action™ envisions, plans, concepts, organises and executes societal reforms.
Our reforms are comprehensive so that jointly managed sectoral innovations and reforms support overall local urban development. Higher level sectoral changes force related individual actors to act ethically and economically. The overarching aim is always the greater good.
Of particular interest to In Action are innovations related to work and employment, education and erudition, media and journalism, local development and governance and urban design.
City and university are the keywords in societal innovation. City is the context for innovations to take form and to be applied and university is the societal innovator. City scales from immediate private home environment and district to a county and a state. University scales from start-ups to global movements.
City is the most complex system that is humanly manageable – but we’re quite not there yet.
In Action™ wants to convene cities and universities to start together handle complexity with highly systemic solutions, the most important thing in societal innovation. In Action™ offers tools, patterns and a new mindset as well as understanding of human, nature, society, technology and of the city.
